For more than three decades, Hubbard's Music & More has served as a cornerstone of the Las Cruces music community. What began as a passion project in 1979 has grown into a welcoming destination for musicians of all skill levels. The store carries a wide selection of guitars, basses, amplifiers, and effects pedals from trusted brands alongside drum kits, percussion accessories, keyboards, and sound reinforcement gear. Whether someone is looking for their first acoustic guitar or a professional-grade live sound system, the inventory is carefully curated to fit a variety of budgets and musical styles. Every corner of the store reflects a deep commitment to serving Southwest musicians with quality gear and genuine expertise.

The family-owned spirit that launched the business remains at its heart today. Customers are greeted not as transactions but as fellow music lovers walking through the doors of a shared creative space. The staff takes pride in answering questions, offering recommendations, and helping players find exactly what they need without pressure or pretense. This laid-back, approachable atmosphere has made the shop a trusted resource for beginners learning their first chords and seasoned performers upgrading their rigs alike. Over the years, the store has moved and evolved, but the mission has stayed constant: providing the region with honest service, reliable equipment, and a place where music brings people together.

Beyond selling gear, Hubbard's Music & More actively supports the local music scene through events and education. The annual Hubbfest gathering has become a highlight for area musicians, offering a chance to connect, share skills, and celebrate live performance. The store also encourages players to develop their craft by fostering an environment where questions are welcome and knowledge is freely shared. From amplifier troubleshooting to understanding the nuances of different pickup configurations, the team is always ready to help demystify the technical side of music. This educational focus sets the business apart as more than a retail stop it is a community hub for musical growth.

The store's showroom invites visitors to browse an extensive selection of acoustic and electric instruments displayed alongside amplifiers, effects, and percussion gear. Players can get hands-on with guitars from well-known makers, test drive drum kits, and explore the latest in audio electronics and stage lighting.
